Continuing the low key, improvised theme of Rough Diamond, I kept the recordings for Seeds raw and spacious. I experimented with several delay effects, multi-tracked to create a bigger ensemble of sound, with synthesised string and sequencing effects played on guitar.
Recordings are often untitled until the last moment, just before publishing – an easier job with vocal songs. So tracks get names based on what I might be feeling, or the visuals I see in my head. In this case I took inspiration from the TV Sci-Fi show Silo.
